BEO GDV Technique based on Kirlian Effect: Advanced scientific tool to study mind-body functions by reading aura

NEW GENERATION OF KIRLIAN INSTRUMENTS
In the history of Science development of a new instrument always resulted in new understanding of Reality. Microscope, telescope, X-rays, tomography, ultra-sound - without these instruments modern science is powerless.
Now a new instrument came to being - Computerised Gas Discharge Visualisation technique, based on well-known Kirlian Effect. Modern scientific means: fiber-glass optics, digitised TV matrix, picture processing with powerful computer - created a new base for introducing this technique into scientific practice. This is the first tool that gave us opportunity to visualise the distribution of human's fields, and make it easily, reproducibly, graphically and, the last but not the least, inexpensively.
At this stage of scientific development these features will contribute to the common trend in biophysics from the comprehension of biological objects as solid stable structures to the perception of their dynamic spatial field essence. That is why we see our task not as a development of one more diagnostic instrument, but as a step to a new understanding of Reality. A lot of scientific institutions, conventional and alternative medical practitioners from different countries benefit from using this technique now. There are GDV Technologies branches in London, Milan, Chicago, Washington D.C., Madrid, Munich, Zurich, etc. In three years more than 400 instruments are sold to different countries.
The principle of obtaining information, using the GDV approach, can be presented as follows. Electric impulse stimulates biological subject and generates response of the subject in the form of electron and photon emission. Due to a short electrical impulse used (10 mcs) the subject responses in a wide band of frequencies. Simultaneously, at the expense of superficial and volume heterogeneity of the object, space-time modulation of the applied electromagnetic field (EMF) takes place. Weak emission and photon radiation of the object increases owing to a gas discharge, generated in EMF. The glow of this discharge is transformed by optical and CCD system into a computer file. On the basis of the calculated parameters and diagnostic hypothesis a certain conclusion or diagnosis is made. The picture, formed after processing and transformations, reveals as a two-dimensional amplitude-modulated fractal image. To study this image methods of fractal, matrix and probability analysis, realised in the form of Windows based unique program complex, are used.

TERMINOLOGY
The data we have obtained has led us to create a new definition for the method: Biological Emission and Optical radiation, stimulated by electromagnetic field, amplified by Gas Discharge with Visualisation through computer data processing - in short, BEO GDV. In addition, we have created the following terms to identify the images received with the help of our technology:
· GDV-gram - computer pictures received by Gas Discharge Visualization processing.
· BEO-gram - computer images received by Gas Discharge Visualization processing (GDV-grams) pertaining to biological objects, particularly to human.

BEO GDV ANALYSIS
The BEO GDV Camera and software complex allows to examine client's energy state on a variety of different levels such as:
· Individual's "psychological type".
· Energy condition of systems and organs.
· Physiological stress level.
· Quantitative monitoring of condition during treatment course.
· Quantitative monitoring of an individual in the process of specific external influence such as training, meditation, healing, etc.
· Analysis of effect of test loads and probes on dynamics of energy level of an individual.
· Effects of subtle influences such as homeopathy, flower essences, essential oils and wave therapy, including allergic reactions, on individual's energy.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

BEO GDV analysis of human health, psychology and well being is based on studying information derived from BEO-grams of individual's fingers and, in some cases, toes. This idea was first suggested by Dr. Peter Mandel in 1986 who developed a sophisticated system of diagnostics using Kirlian photography. In this case, Kirlian photographs of both hands and feet were taken simultaneously. Dr. Mandel is an extremely talented person. He has developed a set of treatment programs based on this information and together with his colleagues offers them in healing centres in Germany, Switzerland and Italy. He conducts seminars on the subject as well.

His achievements have attracted a lot of attention. For example, an Australian journalist was so impressed with Dr. Mandel, that he published a book about his techniques and outstanding personality. System of Dr. Mandel combines Energy Emission Analysis, Colorpuncture, Acu-Impulse therapy, Induction therapy and Color-Sound therapy combined by the idea of Esogetic Model of human functioning. This is a powerful empirical approach, based on thousands of patients. At the same time Dr. Mandel is not interested in clinical or scientific validations of his ideas. He develops new and new brilliant ideas and implements them immediately on practical level.

Our approach to diagnosis is quite different from Dr. Mandel's. However, the two systems may be complementary to one another. After studying Dr. Mandel's book at the end of 80ies, I spent a great deal of time in clinics and hospitals comparing Kirlian photos of patients with their confirmed diagnosis. After this, we created our own diagnostic charts and a way of categorizing patients into groups. In 1995, we were able to carry this work forward to a higher level establishing the foundation for a truly scientific stage in Kirlian diagnostics with the introduction of GDV Bioelectrography. This technology is entirely based on modern scientific paradigms.

Using special electrode system the approach creates high intensity electric field around an object which produces gas discharge which glow can be seen and measured. The discharge appears independently of the nature of the object, consequently with experimental experience one can cause virtually any object to glow. This could be a nail, a stone or a plant; any biological essence adds its own unique aspect to this glow, changing its brightness, size, and color.
The discharge reveals the features of an object which cannot be determined by other techniques, moreover, one can track any small changes which occur. Electrical properties of the object, emission characteristics, gas evaporation, energy exchange with the environment - all these parameters of the object contribute to its glow. All attempts to assign or relate this glow to other factors such as sweating or conductivity alone, after careful analysis, have proven incorrect. For example with complex objects it is possible to determine the influence of different factors such as medicine, type of food, environment, etc. The method reveals complex reaction of an organism to different influences.
To analyse human psycho-physiological condition two main analytical approaches are applied: parametric and sector ones. Parametric approach is based on the calculation of BEO-gram parameter, factor and correlation analysis (today the GDV Software calculates more than 30 parameters). Complex analysis usually allows for results of both GDV measurements and other types of measurements (psychological, physiological, and bioelectrogr.aphic). The following main groups of parameters are considered: geometrical, brightness, density, fractal, probability, and entropy parameters.

Sector diagnostics is based on a diagnostic table, connecting glow characteristics of separate zones of fingers with the functional state of body zones. For the first time the idea of such connection was proposed by P.Mandel, then it was further developed and modified. The diagnostic table is based on the concepts of traditional Chinese medicine, micro-acupuncture systems and empirical experience. The analysis suggests using notions on Chakras and Ayurvedic medicine. Basing on 10-fingers BEO-grams and the diagnostic table, the model of field distribution around human body is built in the GDV Programs. Independent clinic observations in different countries revealed diagnostic validity of the GDV-technique and, in particular, the model of field distribution - Aura.

The method of GDV Bioelectrography is a practical application and a touchstone of the new approach. Although gas discharge images are fluctuating, dynamically changing, they are still probabilistically reproducible. They represent natural application of non-linear mathematics. However, conclusions, made using these methods, should be absolutely concrete and should carry clear information on biological object's state.

Totality of all the characteristics developed enables us to consider forming a new scientific approach, which can be identified as quantum informational biophysics. In our practice we have quite often approached cases, when the form of this picture has become a motive for a patient to start correcting his or her state. Apart from other state correction techniques, in our practice the following one is increasingly applied.

In the morning, after first hygienic procedures, a person sits in front of the mirror, puts a hard copy of his/her own field in full face in front of him/her and, looking at this image, fancies the picture of this field around his/her own body. The main purpose at that is to imagine how this field grows and widens in space, how it pulses with bright rainbow colours, how the holes gradually close and the defects smooth. The more dense and firm this cover is, the better it carries out its functions and the more reliable and confident its owner feels himself/herself. Such an exercise requires 10-15 minutes. It allows irregularity and non-methodicalness. The GDV meditation represents a sort of biofeedback visualisation meditation. There are a lot of varieties of such practice, and all of them more or less effective. This method is distinguished by the fact that the meditation is implemented upon a real picture of one's own field, reflecting his or her individual peculiarities. The connection of person to the energy-informational field might take place, at that, and through the brain direct influence of fancy on the organism controlling systems occurs, which leads to therapeutic effect by way of effect of field structures on the physical body.

GDV-correction.
As has already been mentioned, the GDV method is an active one: we apply a dirge pulse and register the reaction. Special investigations revealed that this reaction has a neurovascular nature, both local and general. In other words, applying impulse a microstress takes place, which results in activation and training reactions. Thus, the very process of change, being low-energetic, does not cause direct energetic reactions in the organism, but brings to informational reactions.
This characteristic was first noticed by the head of physiotherapy department of St. Petersburg Federal Military Medical Academy Doctor of Medical Science Prof. G. Ponomarenko. And before him it had time and again been mentioned that some patients, mainly women, had experienced pricking in 4, 5 fingers in the process of shooting. Historically physiotherapy in Russia has been represented by methods of non-specific influence upon the organism using thermal, electric, magnetic, and aeroionic effects. The following technique of the GDV-correction implementation is developed.
Patient puts all his/her five fingers on the device's optical glass simultaneously, after which voltage in mode I is applied within 32 seconds. Then the procedure is repeated with the other hand. Data is not recorded into the computer, therefore the GDV device, in principle, might be disconnected from the computer, or the computer might be turned off. The procedure is repeated twice a day: in the morning and in the evening.
