Mindful Practices for Integrated Living

As a beam of light illuminates the arteries of life sustaining energy, every mindful action provides the nutrients of nourishment for the sun of awareness to shine it’s light on all our thoughts, feelings and actions vitalizing the “Heart of Perfect Wisdom, which is our essence!

What is Mindful Practice:

1. To live so the seeds of happiness in us are watered every day.
2. The capacity to feel at peace in any circumstance, knowing nothing is lost.
3. Cultivating the capacity to listen deeply with a still mind.
4. Practice mindful breathing when toxic emotions surface.
5. A responsible attitude toward the planet.
6. A deep honoring and caring for all life.
7. Being wholly present in each moment.
8. Knowing that all learning is bathed in the Heart of perfect wisdom.
9. Totally recognizing that we are absolute (Buddha/Christ) beings on a human journey.
10. Teaching by example.


As a container of apple cider with sediment is briskly poured into a glass, the sediment is dispersed throughout the volume of the juice and as the sediment settles, just as we observe from our seeing eye in moments of mindfulness, clarity emerges. This is the nature of nature itself, which is our essence.

To be mindful that action and renunciation are identical. Action is the tree and renunciation the fruit. One is not loftier than the other, since the tree and the fruit grow in the bosom of infinity, to be loved by eternity and embraced by immortality. Such is the expression of total perfection, which is our essence.

To be mindful that all truth is eternal and no individual or race can lay claim to it. Truth is the nature of all souls. The highest truths are the most simple and practical and has the capacity to penetrate every pore of human society and be embodied in the highest intellect to the simple mind of every man, woman and child at the same time, just as the radiant light illumines the “Heart of Perfect Wisdom”, which is our essence.

To be mindful that reason guided with inspiration is akin to the tools we use in our work, inspired by the light that reveals to us the truth, which is our essence.

To be mindful that with our breath, in the midst of greatest silence and solitude, finds the most intense activity and in the midst of intense activity finds the silence and solitude of the desert, herein resides the breath of joy embraced in the “Heart of Perfect Wisdom”, which is our essence.
